Magnus von Wright was a Finnish-Swedish painter and ornithologist. He, along with his brothers Wilhelm and Ferdinand, are considered the most significant Finnish natural history artists of their time. Magnus von Wright specialized in painting and drawing birds, and his work forms a core part of the highly respected Svenska Foglar (Swedish Birds), which became the definitive illustrated guide to Scandinavian birds.
