This lovely set of 10 chromolithography prints is from Carl Lindman’s ”Bilder ur Nordens Flora”. The works were published in Stockholm by Wahlström & Widstrand, 1905.
Carl Lindman (1856-1928) was a prominent Swedish botanist and professor at the Swedish Museum of Natural History. His significant work "Nordens Flora" is a comprehensive botanical reference covering plants from across the Nordic region and is well-known for its detailed illustrations and meticulous descriptions. Lindman's contributions have significantly contributed to the understanding and documentation of the Nordic flora.
