Louis Haghe (1806–1885) was a Belgian-born British lithographer and watercolorist, best known for his collaborations with David Roberts on The Holy Land series. A master of architectural and ecclesiastical subjects, Haghe pioneered richly toned chromolithography and brought painterly depth to printed works. He was president of the New Society of Painters in Water Colours and widely admired for his ability to evoke both scale and sacred atmosphere in architectural views.
