Beskrivning
This finely engraved and hand-coloured map by Christoph Weigel the Elder presents the territories of mainland Greece, the Peloponnesus, and the Aegean islands, with Latin toponyms and classical references. Titled Græciæ et Archipelagi Delineatio, the map shows ancient and early modern geography, including regions such as Achaia, Thessalia, Macedonia, Creta (Candia), and Asia Minor (Natolia).
