This fine art print titled "Thermae Novatianae Hodie Templum Pudentianae" depicts the Novatian Baths in Rome, historically part of the house of the Pudens family. According to legend, the Roman senator Pudente provided shelter to Saint Peter in 50 AD, and his daughters requested a church be built on this site. Today, the location is the Church of Saint Pudentiana. The image is based on a classical Roman engraving by Pietro Santi Bartoli from the 1690s.
