Stephanus Blankaart (1650–1704) was a Dutch physician and anatomist who played a key role in popularizing anatomy through vernacular medical literature. His anatomical works stood out for their clarity, accessibility, and educational purpose, contributing to a shift from Latin-based scholarly medicine toward broader professional and civic engagement with anatomical science in the Dutch Republic.
