Georges-Louis Le Rouge was a highly prolific and important French cartographer and publisher of the late 18th century. Working from Paris, he was known for producing numerous detailed plans and military maps for various European courts, including a significant series of maps detailing the military theaters of Europe and large-scale atlases covering regions like Germany and Scandinavia. His works are noted for their clear delineation of geography and political subdivisions.
