Various regions and continental boundaries are delineated with delicate hand-coloured outlines in red, blue, and yellow, highlighting territories such as Scythia, India, and Ethiopia. This engraving was published in the Petit Atlas National des Départements de la France et de ses Colonies in Paris by Monin himself. The work serves as a historical and geographical record of ancient global knowledge, identifying the extent of explored lands and the names of distant regions as documented by classical authors.
