The composition features a central title block at the top and publication details at the bottom center, identifying the publisher as the Successor of Robert de Vaugondy in Paris. Territorial boundaries and continental outlines are highlighted with delicate hand-coloured washes in pink, yellow, and green. This map was published in the Atlas de la Géographie in Paris, serving as a comprehensive geographical reference during a period of intense global exploration and colonial expansion.
