Pieter Hendriksz. Schut was a Dutch Golden Age artist and engraver active in Amsterdam, recognized for his extensive production of biblical and topographical prints. He worked closely with the publisher Claes Jansz. Visscher, creating detailed narrative series that were widely used to illustrate seventeenth-century bibles and religious texts.
