"Grece Antique Mappa Nova" portrays the geography of Greece, the Aegean islands, and surrounding regions as they were understood in antiquity. This map was published by the Delamarche firm in Paris in 1828.
Felix Delamarche was a French geographer and map publisher who took over the business established by his father, Charles-Francois Delamarche. The family firm became well-known in Paris for producing accessible atlases and globes throughout the early 1800s. Felix continued to refine and update the cartographic content produced by the company. His work contributed to the wide dissemination of geographical information during this period.
