Accesserunt ad eum discipuli eius, et suscitauerunt eum, dicentes, Domine, salua nos, perimus illustrates the biblical event where disciples awaken Jesus during a violent storm at sea. The engraving depicts a ship tossed by turbulent waves under a dark, lightning-streaked sky, while the figures on board react in fear. It serves as a narrative scene within a series documenting the life and miracles of Christ, with the publication originating in Antwerp. 

Adriaen Collaert was a Flemish engraver and print publisher who was active in Antwerp. He was a member of the Guild of Saint Luke and contributed significantly to the dissemination of religious and mythological imagery. His works are known for their technical precision and delicate line work. He played an essential role in the flourishing print industry in the Netherlands during the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries.
