"Elephant Attacking a Man" This scene depicts a large elephant using its trunk to lift or strike a man lying on the ground amidst a forest of heavy, gnarled trees. The technical nature is a copper engraving. It was published in the Naaukeurige Versameling der Gedenkwaardigste Zee en Landreysen, a massive collection of travel accounts printed in Leiden.
