"De Wonderen Gods in de minst-geachte schepselen" This work is the decorative title page for a series on insects, featuring a central text surrounded by an intricate border of intertwined vines, yellow wildflowers, and various lepidoptera in different life stages, including a caterpillar, a chrysalis, and several moths. The technical nature is a hand-coloured etching. It was published in the first volume of Nederlandsche Insecten, printed in Amsterdam by the Sepp family. Jan Christiaan Sepp was a prominent Dutch engraver, etcher, bookseller, and naturalist based in Amsterdam.
