Georges-Louis Le Rouge was a prominent French cartographer, engraver, and publisher who was active in Paris during the mid-18th century. He held the title of "Ingénieur Géographe du Roi" (Geographer to the King). He is best known for his numerous atlases, including the Atlas Nouveau Portatif, which contained a wide array of detailed maps.
