This large, double-page woodcut presents a detailed panoramic and topographical bird's-eye view of the city of Worms, Germany, identified in the title as "Wahre Contrafactur... der... Statt Wormbs" (True Likeness... of the City of Worms). The print captures the extensive city skyline, including its prominent cathedral, churches, and defensive walls, with the Rhine River ("Rhein flu.") flowing in the foreground. Below the image is a detailed key identifying numerous landmarks, and the image is surrounded by German Fraktur text describing the city's history.

Sebastian Münster was a German cartographer, cosmographer, and scholar. He is best known as the primary author and editor of the Cosmographia, one of the most influential and commercially successful books of the 16th century.
